In 1999 he graduated from the General Medicine dept of the Heratsi Medical University of Yerevan.
1999 – 2001: residency at the Burdenko Institute for Neurological Surgery, specializing in neurosurgery.
1999 – 2001: postgraduate studies at the Burdenko Institute for Neurological Surgery, specializing in neurosurgery.
«Neurosurgeon» professional certificate was issued on 11. Apr 2020 and is valid for 5 years.
Research and practice:
In 2005, as part of his training as neurosurgeon, he defended his PhD thesis on «Clinical and histobiological characteristics of primary germinal cellular tumors of the central nervous system».
From 2005 to 2015 he was senior researcher.
Since 2015 he is neurological surgeon at the Neuroendocrinology dept of ERC.
He is a certified neurosurgeon.
